These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by ACP Grounds and Garden Care (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking our services or using our website, you agree to these terms.
1. Services
We provide gardening and grounds maintenance, including hedge cutting, lawn care, edging, planting, pruning, seasonal tidies, and pond maintenance. Services and pricing are as per agreed quotations.
2. Quotations and Payment
- All quotes are estimates based on the information provided and may be subject to change.
- Payment is due as agreed before or after completion, typically within 7 days of invoice.
- Deposits may be required for larger jobs.
3. Scheduling and Cancellations
- Appointments are confirmed once agreed.
- Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes.
- Late cancellations may incur a fee.
- We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
4. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide safe access to the property and inform us of hazards or special requirements.
- Secure pets during work.
- Remove or protect valuable or fragile items.
5. Regular Maintenance Contracts
- Contracts for ongoing maintenance (e.g., weekly, fortnightly) will be agreed in writing.
- Either party may terminate with 2 weeks written notice.
- Prices and scope may be reviewed annually or as agreed.
6. No-Access and Missed Appointments
- If we are unable to access the property at the agreed time without prior notice, a no-access fee may apply.
- Missed appointments due to no access or client unavailability may be charged at a minimum booking rate.
7. Liability and Damage
- We carry public liability insurance and will perform work with reasonable care and skill.
- We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage or undisclosed conditions.
- Damage caused by hidden obstacles (e.g., underground cables, pipes).
- Damage resulting from machinery use, except where caused by negligence.
- Losses due to weather or circumstances beyond our control.
- Indirect, consequential, or financial losses.
8. Waste Disposal
- Green waste removal is included as agreed.
- Additional charges may apply for excess or non-garden waste.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions occasionally. The latest version will be on our website.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
